November 30, 2011 - Anchorage, Alaska  —The U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare System (SPAWAR) contracting officer extended Emerald Consulting Group LLC's (DBA Doyon Emerald) period of performance through 05/21/2012, and increased their contract to $23,171.162.00 (a $6,076,367.00 increase). SPAWAR, based in San Diego, CA, is an echelon organization within the U.S. Navy and is the Navy’s technical authority and acquisition command for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR), business IT and space systems. 

In the forthcoming months, Doyon Emerald will be increasing their Washington, DC area marketing efforts to take full advantage of this period of performance increase and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, which provides for an indefinite quantity of supplies or services during a fixed period of time—most often used for service contracts and architectural-engineering (A-E) services.
